Belly Dance Teachers
Fusion Drills and Combos with Suzie Rambo

I’ve been dancing since the age of three, starting with ballet and tap before exploring styles like Irish dance and contemporary. For years, I was dedicated to ballet, dreaming of becoming a prima ballerina. Then, my mom invited me to take a belly dance class with her as a fun mother-daughter experience. At first, I wasn’t interested—but after a few classes, I discovered something unexpected: belly dance was my true artistic home.
I’ve been belly dancing since 2008 and teaching since 2010. In 2019, I earned my Level 1 certification from the Salimpour institute for Belly Dance, where I continue to train and refine my skills. My classes are fun, uplifting, and body-positive, blending strength training, yoga, stretching, essential oils, and a strong sense of community.
Belly dance is more than just movement—it’s a beautiful, ancient art form that invites you to reconnect with your amazing, smart body. It’s sensual, elegant, and deeply empowering. I focus on technique and safe movement, ensuring that every step is clear, strong, and intentional. Whether you’re new to belly dance or looking to refine your skills, my goal is to help you move with confidence, joy, and strength. Come dance with me and experience the magic of belly dance for yourself!

I discovered my love for dance at just 15 years old, following a back surgery that led me to seek out gentle, low-impact ways to move. Belly dance quickly became so much more than just exercise — it transformed into my passion. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of training with wonderful teachers across Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, and Tennessee, immersing myself in the rich beauty of American Cabaret and American Fusion dance styles.
Now, I’m excited to share my playful fusion style with students and audiences alike. Teaching classes and performing at local events allows me to create a welcoming space where dance feels accessible to everyone. I truly believe that dance is for all, and I love fostering connections and celebrating life through the powerful rhythm of movement.
