Chakra Therapy invites massage therapists into a slower, more spacious way of working with the body. This 7-hour NCTMB-approved continuing education experience unfolds in a calm, rejuvenating setting where learning and receiving happen side by side. The mind rests, hands listen and the room hums with curiosity and ease.
Throughout the day, participants explore each of the 7 main chakras and their relationship to the physical body. Touch becomes the primary teacher as participants practice gentle chakra evaluation through the hands, discovering how areas like the heart chakra connect with the arms and hands, and how the root chakra speaks through the legs. These connections offer a deeper lens for addressing long-standing patterns and areas of concern in clients.
The training weaves together hands-on techniques using touch, vibration, color therapy and tuning forks. Giving-and-receiving sessions allows the work to land not only in the mind, but in the body itself. By the end of the course, therapists will have the skills to offer a full one-hour chakra therapy session to clients, either as a standalone service or seamlessly layered into existing massage modalities.
This style of bodywork feels kind to the practitioner’s hands and body, supporting longevity in a massage career. The gentle nature of chakra therapy creates space for focused, intentional work without strain, while offering clients a deeply restorative and expansive experience.
